The great "what if?" for this season is the Sabres' COVID shut down. They didn't play a game from Feb. 1 through Feb. 14 after an outbreak, allegedly caused by an on-ice transmission in a game against the Devils. They had nine players on the NHL COVID list. They've won twice since returning.

In danger of failing: Jake Virtanen. A cult hero among Canucks fans, "Shotgun" Jake has been shooting blanks this season, with just three goals in the 28 games in which he's appeared, and earning a handful of healthy scratches. Yet another member of the Vancouver rank-and-file that hasn't played up to standards.

Players: A. The Knights are absolutely stacked and have been the class of the division through the first half. The trio of Chandler Stephenson, Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty have an expected goals percentage of 58.73%, with Stone leading the team in scoring (34 points in 26 games) and Pacioretty in goals (14 goals in 27 games). Jonathan Marchessault, Reilly Smith and William Karlsson are at 57.62% expected goals at 5-on-5. Tristan Jarry, G, Pittsburgh Penguins (No. 123 overall, No. 15 goaltender): His home-road splits are still ridiculous, but the overall product has overcome that disparity. He's played 80.2 percent of the crease minutes since Feb. 16 and piled up the fourth-most fantasy points among goaltenders since then. It's probably helped that the majority of those minutes have been at home, where he sports a 2.36 goals-against average (compared to 3.60 GAA on the road). While the stark contrast between his venue-based performances is worth being concerned about, he still has top-five goaltender upside in his projections based on the final product.Calgary Flames NHL Design Face Masks
